In Love with Legos
My oldest son loves all things Lego, so our first trip to the Lego Store in Chandler was two hours of pure bliss for him! He looked in every Lego Circle in
which hides a cute or funny or yucky (flies) or amazing (movie theater) diarama made of Legos. There were a few of the biggest type of Legos built in display cases and boy, can a boy pine after a $400 Star Wars Lego ship! The “Buy a Brick” area is an amazing wall of color – the picture shows my son purusing! You’ll want to check out the wall and the whole store – especially since they offer a FREE event every month where kids six and up get to build and keep a small lego project. July is a flag and we will have details in our July issue of Active Moms!
Our Littlest Takes the Biggest Slide
Our littlest is so brave! Not even two and going down the big slide! We have been spending so much time outside - haven’t we been so blessed with the nice weather? Let us know what you’ve been up to – leave us a comment!
Magic Mushrooms Make for Play Area Fun
We made a Barnes & Noble run today for last minute Father’s Day books and ended up walking around the San Tan Village Mall because for some amazing and bless
ed reason it is still BEAUTIFUL in June!
We made it to the kids play areas and our little had lots of fun crawling up the magical looking mushrooms and under the big blue dragonfly.
There are three play areas all together – one for bigger kids, a splash pad area and the one where we were for the littler set. Our area was very clean and not too crowded considering the weather. Probably not going to be a good spot for very much longer unless you are the get out of the house really early type!
But as long as it is so wonderful outside, we recommend stopping by the play areas (put the kids in swim suits and bring towels if you want to check out the splash pad) at San Tan Mall.
More Fun at the Pool!
I used to really like my phone – now I LOVE it! You won’t believe it,
but I took these videos at the pool with my (now) beloved phone! Since we have a raging debate going on who won the water slide race, help us out! Leave us a comment and let us know who you think won the big race!
